Assistant Manager – Production (Bakery Ingredients)

Job Description
  • 1. To handle 3rd parties of Bakery Ingredients production at various places.
  • 2. Get the sales schedule from the sales team and arrange the production at 3rd party. 
  • 3. Provide RM/PM requirements to the purchasing department and coordinate with 3rd  parties for material arrival schedule.
  • 4. As per requirement from sales and in coordination with the product development department introduce new SKUs or products.
  • 5. Coordinate with the purchase and QA departments for RM/PM/FG safety review.
  • 6. Coordinate with 3rd party operation executives for production schedules, stocks,  samples, dispatches, etc.
  • 7. Introduce more 3rd party units in different regions for cost-effectiveness. 
  • 8. Work closely with QA/QC/Product Development department for new artwork.
  • 9. Coordinate with accounts for stocks, productions, etc.
  • 10. Data entry in ERP system.
  • 11. Travel to 3rd party units whenever required.  
  • 12. Resolve market complaints with the help of other departments.  
  • 13. Ensure timely delivery of products to market.
  • 14. Optimize production cost.
  • 15. Follow FSSAI compliances.
  • 16. Work closely with the NPD department.
  • 17. Work on value-added products from yeast.

  • 9. Understanding of risk management in the context of the supply chain

Educational Qualification
  • 1. B.Sc./M.Sc./B.E. / B. Tech./ M.B.A Food Technology, Chemical.  
  • 2. Sound knowledge of Bakery Ingredients / Contract Manufacturing in food industries.

  • 1. Candidate should have 6-10 years of experience in the relevant field.
  • 2. Relevant exposures in MS Office, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP environments are a must.
