Area Sales Manager

Location: Delhi


 

Roles & Responsibilities 

 
Marketing, General sales
  • 1. Gather and analyse relevant data on existing and potential markets and trends for assigned product groups.
  • 2. Make appropriate recommendations in a timely manner. 
  • 3. Arrange and conduct programs of training to meet identified needs.
  • 4. Develop a sales strategy in conjunction with the sales team for the region in line with the overall objectives of the business. Strategy to be coordinated with the overall direction of the Management Board.
  • 5. Execute sales plans & budgets within the agreed time frame, consistent with the sales strategy approved by the Management.
  • 6. Receive adequate training to achieve current objectives and future developments.
Sales to new customers and existing customers
  • 1. Arrange and conduct programs of training to meet identified needs.
  • 2. Marketing Campaigns:  Launching loyalty programs, running online and offline campaigns, analysing the effectiveness of the campaigns and reporting to  superior position, making effective use of the schemes and promotional offers, to increase the revenue.
  • 3. Participate and Execute New Product Launch
Management of Sales, Gross Profit and Receivables (until collection)
  • 1. Explore opportunities for business development including potential acquisitions for assigned product groups and make recommendations. 
  • 2. Develop and nurture key accounts with clients.
  • 3. Support marketing and sales activities for assigned product groups to achieve objectives and budgeted targets. 
  • 4. Achieve sales and collection targets in accordance with Forecast and Budget
  • 5. Monitor performance against budget, compare regional targets with budget weekly and monthly, and submit monthly sales report 5 days after month-end.
  • 6. Maintain regular contact with major customers. 
  • 7. Maintain stock levels within budget and observe credit management policies.
  • 8. Maintain customer account data up to date and provide regular monitoring and feedback on performance.

Qualification and Experience

 
  • 1. Graduate / Post Graduate with Food Technology or Hotel Management Background 
  • 2. 6 to 10 years of related experience
